Electric Wheelchair CSD Price 2026: In a commendable initiative, the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) has expanded its product offerings by introducing electric wheelchairs on the CSD AFD Online Portal from 2026. This move is expected to greatly benefit eligible beneficiaries, particularly Divyangjan personnel and their families.
Currently, two models from the renowned Ostrich Mobility brand are available:
Ostrich Blaze 220 Electric Wheelchair
Ostrich Blaze 350 Electric Wheelchair
These wheelchairs are being offered at significantly discounted prices through the CSD AFD Portal. Known for their durability, comfort, reliability, and ease of use, Ostrich wheelchairs are well-suited for diverse Indian terrains and everyday mobility needs.
Massive Savings Through CSD: The Ostrich Blaze 350 Electric Wheelchair is available in the open market at an approximate price of ₹1.74 lakh. However, eligible CSD customers can purchase the same model through the CSD AFD Portal for around ₹1.17 lakh, resulting in substantial savings.
Eligibility: This facility is available only for beneficiaries holding a valid Disability Certificate.
Availability Certificate Requirement: Before placing a demand on the CSD AFD Portal, beneficiaries must obtain an Availability Certificate from the OEM/Dealer.
